… I’m a copycat, plain and simple!
I loved Mimi’s fabulous card, so literally copied it exactly from her original:
** edit: oh phooey, will have to change my Dymo strip, I *hate* spelling mistakes, and that one is a right blooper. Shame on me!
And while I was at it, I took a shine to Charlotte’s card also, and did the same:
OK, it’s early in the year to be thinking of Christmas, but I guess I can afford to give myself a head start as I know I’ll be in a rush when the holiday season does come around 😀
Once again, Cards and Stamps Addicts has been the inspiration behind some cards.
Firstly, a mosaic-style card, which I jazzed up a little with some fake-stitching using my current favourite die : “Stitched” from Paper Smooches :
Then a set of three using the same sketch:
First up a sweet, romantic card, which my eldest son snapped up to give
to his girlfriend on St Valentine’s Day.
This card was inspired by a sketch from Cardabilities (sketch n° 113)
and was entered in the February monthly challenge on Scrap etc.
This also corresponds to the colour-combo challenge for St Valentine’s Day
on my favourite local scrapbooking store’s blog:
La Fabrik a Scrap
Secondly, another romantic little card.
This one is already winging its way in the post over to my mother,
hopefully to arrive in time for Mother’s Day.
I used a sketch by Créacam which she also posted as one of
the monthly challenges on Cards’n’Stamps addicts.
You can see the other member’s versions here.
The papers for this card were offered to me by my good friend, Val,
and are from a paper collection by Cultura.
Aren’t they just divine?
